Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best known for her roles on TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her ability to act in a variety of roles by making outstanding appearances on TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her performance as Anna in the 2005 film Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her performance in the role of women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer, in the biography film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Hind was recognized for her role as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for a third season, thanks to 20th Century Fox Television. Hind recently Hind finished filming on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters to be scheduled to release mid-2019. The place she was born is Mangalore in India. Their father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist before his death on 18 March 2017. Mother Vrinda lives at home. Aditya Rai who is the elder brother is a marine merchant engineer. Her brother co-wrote and wrote Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. She was enlisted by PepsiCo Inc., Vogue magazine as well as L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. The actress's career was off on the right foot thanks to her acclaimed roles as a lead in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both of these films were a departure from the standard structure that characterized Bollywood films at the time propelling Bachchan to the forefront of her own New Bollywood. The heartbreaking performance of Bachchan as Paro she was the lover who was cheated on the set of Devdas (2002) the film that was one of the most well-known Bollywood movies of that time. Its premiere at Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the queen of Bollywood. Following that she received great acclaim for her portrayal of Chokher Bali (2003) an intense drama that was based on Rabindranath Tagore's story. It was her first Indian to be on the jury for the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan has been able to add her charisma and beauty in her debut English language film. After releasing Provoked the - a True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and appeared in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan was a regular actor as well as the son of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007, she tied the knot with the actor. They were married in a ceremony that brought together two powerful Indian personalities.
