Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she's proven her versatility as an actress through impressive performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her part as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. The performance she made in the biographical movie All the Way as the Women's Right advocate Fannie Lou Hammer brought her into the spotlight of the world at large. Hind was also acknowledged by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for the third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind recently wrapped up filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will come out in the middle of 2019.
