Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she's proven her versatility as an actress through impressive performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her part as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. The performance she made in the biographical movie All the Way as the Women's Right advocate Fannie Lou Hammer brought her into the spotlight of the world at large. Hind was also acknowledged by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for the third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind recently wrapped up filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will come out in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj, who was an Army Scientist, who passed away on the 18th of March 2017 and her mother Vrinda have both been homemakers. Aditya is her older brother who is also a merchant naval engineer. The brother of Bachchan wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mother. Her family moved to Mumbai to attend Arya Vidya Mandir. Her intermediate studies were completed in Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she achieved a 90 percentile on her H.S.C. exams. She spent five years of her adolescence studying musical and classical dance. She was a lover of the study of zoology. Bachchan, who was then in the process of studying architecture, was named Miss World in the year 1994. This was her first step into the limelight of modeling. The year 2003 was the time she received lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also was offered a contract to be the L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. In 1997, she played two acclaimed roles: Iruvar and Aur pyaar ho gaya. Bachchan was the symbol of New Bollywood with these films that defied Bollywood's basic structure. Her heartbreaking performance as the love-struck Paro for Devdas (2002) which was considered to be one of the most loved Bollywood films and the first to be shown during the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented herself as the queen of Bollywood. The following year, she received recognized for her performance in Chokher (2003), an intense thriller based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. In the same year she became the first Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan made an appearance for the first time in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The beauty and star power of Bachchan were brought to the premier major film in English. Then, in 2006, Bachchan came back to Bollywood by starring in the success movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story in English. Abhishek Bachchan was a regular actor and the son of Bollywood famous Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007, she married him. They were married in a ceremony that brought together two popular Indian actors.
