Jamie Colby

Colby is employed by Fox News since July 2003 as a National News Correspondent and Anchor. Colby was anchor, reporter and correspondent at CBS News prior to moving to FOX News Channel. Colby was also a substitute for CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney who has been licensed to be a lawyer in New York, California, Florida and The District of Columbia. She has received numerous awards, including the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002, for reporting on the terror attacks of September 11 in 2001, for her reporting on the September 11 attacks. Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000, and the Clarion Award for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her as a "Rising News-Show Star to Follow". Colby had a background as an attorney, who as well as her work as a journalist for 10 years at a private practice. Her law practice started at an Hollywood entertainment firm, which assigned Colby the show The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she began working on behalf of Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC as well as during his divorce. Colby is the Fox Business reporter and host is reporting for Strange Inheritance since the start of 2015. The program focuses on unusual or quirky legacy items that people or families leave behind.
