Uma Karuna Thurman is an American actor, who made prominence through her portrayal of 'Mia Wallace' in the dark comedy film "Pulp Fiction.' She was a Hollywood A-list actress because of her performance in Pulp Fiction. She is a dedicated actor who does not mind shedding her glamorous image. The role she played in the 'Kill Bill' film series garnered her numerous awards and recognition. She was raised in an unorthodox family with the name of a Hindu. When she was a kid, she was teased for having an angular build and large feet. Although she has become famous due to her stunning looks, she used to be insecure and self-conscious about herself. At the age of 16, she found pleasure in acting and took part in the drama. After deciding that acting was her destiny when she was 15, she left school when she was 15 in order to focus on a career in acting. Before landing her first film part, she made a living by cooking and cleaning up dishes. Her breakthrough came during 1994 when she was a part in the movie "Pulp Fiction.' The film was critically acclaimed for her performance in the Kill Bill film series.
