Mischa Barton
Barton was a part of theater as well as film and television. Her nationality is American British. She has made her New York City debut at the Lincoln Center with Tony Kushner's Slavs! Also, she played the primary part in James Lapine's Twelve Dreams. She first made an acting appearance in the year 1996 by appearing on the American serial opera All My Children, and she voiced an character on the Nickelodeon animated show KaBlam! The show aired between 1996 and 1997. Her debut role as an actor from 1996 to 1997 was in Lawn Dogs, a drama with Sam Rockwell. The films she has starred in are M. Night Shyamalan's psychological action thriller The Sixth Sense (1998) and The romantic comedy Notting Hill (1998). In 1999, she starred as a character in the crime-thriller by an independent company called Pups. Barton performed the role of Evan Rachel Wood's romantic interest on ABC's Once and Again in 2001 and in the independent thriller Lost and Delirious in 2001. The actress played Marissa Cooper in the 2003-2006 season of the Fox show The O.C., for where she took home two Teen Choice Awards. Barton was well-known for her role, as well as Entertainment Weekly named her the year's "It Girl" in 2003. Barton has acted since then in the comedy St Trinian's and the dramatic Closing the Ring directed by Richard Attenborough and the drama Closing the Ring. She has also appeared in the dramatic Closing the Ring which was directed by Richard Attenborough.
