Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best known for her roles on TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her ability to act in a variety of roles by making outstanding appearances on TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her performance as Anna in the 2005 film Assault on Precinct 13. Hind was recognized for her role as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground.
