Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood was conceived in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 7th 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III is a theatre actor, writer and director, as is her mother, Sara Wood, is an actress and acting coach. Her older brothers are Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who also have been actors. Evan and her brothers acted in the Theatre In The Park, Raleigh in the same place where her father serves as the executive director. At the age five she was screen-tested against Kirsten Dunst to play the lead role in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) following a lengthy audition process. In 1996, she relocated to Los Angeles along with her brother Ira and mother. She has been a star in television shows as well as feature films and television movies since.
